Day 1: Arrival in Paro

Begin your adventure in the historic town of Paro. After your arrival and airport transfer, settle into your accommodation and enjoy your first taste of Bhutanese hospitality. Prepare for the trek by getting familiar with the surroundings.

Day 2: Paro – Tiger’s Nest Monastery & Bumdra Trek

Your first hike takes you to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched dramatically on a cliffside. After marveling at this sacred site, ascend further to Bumdra. Here, panoramic views of the Himalayas await you, making the strenuous hike worth every step.

Day 3: Paro – Drakay Phangtso, Dongkola, & Chelela Pass

Set off for Drakay Phangtso and Dongkola, two spiritually rich destinations that offer a mix of adventure and tranquility. The day culminates with a visit to the Chelela Pass, the highest road pass in Bhutan, where sweeping vistas of mountains and valleys greet you.

Day 4: Thimphu – Phajoding Monastery & Buddha Point

Journey onward to the capital city of Thimphu. Today’s hike takes you to Phajoding Monastery, a peaceful site nestled in the mountains. After the hike, visit Buddha Point, where the massive Buddha Dordenma statue overlooks the valley, symbolizing peace and prosperity.

Day 5: Thimphu – Tango & Chari Monasteries

Another day of spiritual hikes awaits with visits to Tango and Chari Monasteries, both significant religious centers. Explore the serene surroundings and observe monastic life as you take in the rich cultural heritage of Bhutan.

Day 6: Punakha – Kabji Hokatso

Head to Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan. Begin your trek or visit Kabji Hokatso, a beautiful lake nestled in the middle of deep forest and high hills that offers retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Bhutan's towns.

Day 7: Departure from Paro

Your adventure comes to a close as you return to Paro for your departure. Reflect on your journey through Bhutan’s high-altitude trails, enriched by the stunning landscapes, cultural encounters, and moments of tranquility.
