Day 1: Arrival in Paro & Transfer to Thimphu

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide. After a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Thimphu, with a brief stop at Tachog Lhakhang, settle into your hotel for some refreshment. In the afternoon, savor authentic Bhutanese cuisine at a local restaurant before visiting the Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in honor of Bhutan's third king. Continue with a visit to Simply Bhutan, a living museum where you’ll meet Pema Tshering, a talented local artist known for his remarkable wood carvings despite physical challenges.

After dinner, take a leisurely stroll through the vibrant streets of Thimphu and soak in the local lifestyle. You may opt to visit a local pub for live performances in Dzongkha, Hindi, and English by talented Bhutanese artists. End your day with an overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing & Transfer to Paro

Start your morning by admiring the grandeur of Buddha Dordenma, a massive statue overlooking Thimphu Valley, offering panoramic views of the city. Then, visit the Textile Museum to explore Bhutan’s intricate weaving traditions.

After lunch at Folk Heritage Restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a traditional meal in a rustic setting, choose between a transformative healing session with Deki or a walk-in yoga class with Yangchen. Deki's healing session offers a personalized journey to release past negativity and invite future positivity, while Yangchen's yoga class helps unlock a healthier lifestyle.

In the evening, explore the vibrant Craft Bazaar for local handicrafts and textiles before transferring to Paro for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery & Visit Kyichu Lhakhang

The day begins with a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), perched on a cliffside, offering breathtaking views and spiritual depth. After the hike, enjoy lunch at the Taktsang Cafeteria, overlooking the majestic monastery.

In the afternoon, descend to Nyangmey Village and visit the museum to catch a glimpse of traditional rural Bhutanese life. In the evening, unwind with a hot stone bath infused with local herbs, accompanied by locally brewed drinks. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant for another taste of Bhutanese cuisine before relaxing at your hotel.

Day 4: Explore Ta Dzong – National Museum of Bhutan

In the morning, visit Ta Dzong, which houses the National Museum of Bhutan. Built as a watchtower in 1649, it now serves as a cultural repository of Bhutan’s history and heritage. Later, enjoy a relaxing hot stone bath infused with local herbs and savor a glass of Ara, a traditional Bhutanese brew. As the evening winds down, dine at a local restaurant and take care of any last-minute packing.

Day 5: Departure from Paro

On your final day, enjoy some leisure time in Paro, whether for a morning stroll through the town or last-minute shopping for souvenirs. Your guide will accompany you to Paro International Airport, ensuring a smooth departure and a fond farewell to Bhutan.
